Water Safety Information

In accordance with New York State Education Law Section 926, the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns is providing families with information about drowning prevention, water safety, and safe swimming practices.

We encourage all families to review the New York State Department of Health's "Safe Swimming Tips for Everyone" resource and discuss these important safety practices with their children. The guide offers practical tips to help keep swimmers of all ages safe around pools, lakes, rivers, beaches, and other bodies of water.
