Our School

Tappan Hill provides a caring and engaging setting for the early years of education. We are excited to reopen the building for the 2025–26 school year, where it will serve as the home for all 1st graders. Those students will remain at Tappan Hill through the 2026–27 school year. Beginning in 2027–28, Tappan Hill will officially become the district’s Kindergarten building, welcoming our youngest learners into a space designed just for them.

We are proud to continue the tradition of the Rose Ceremony. Each fall, graduating seniors return to give roses to 1st graders, marking the start of their journey. In the spring, the seniors return to receive a rose in return—a symbolic send-off from the same place their path began.

From building foundational skills to discovering the world around them, students at Tappan Hill will be encouraged to grow both academically and socially.

As the principal of Tappan Hill, I bring 15 years of experience in education and a deep commitment to creating an environment where every child can thrive. I believe in the power of collaboration and open communication - and I’m excited to partner with our families, staff, and community to shape a warm, engaging, and inspiring school experience for all.
